ORLANDO THE ECO-FRIENDLY OGRE

Little ORLANDO THE ECO-FRIENDLY OGRE lives in Ogre Land with Mummy Ogre, Daddy Ogre, and his brother Otto. His brother Otto is a typical little ogre - that is, a big eater, allergic to books, but a champion at munching and crunching! Little Orlando’s life in Ogre Land is happy, filled with love from his tender family and in total harmony with nature. All Ogres know how important it is to respect nature and protect its resources for present and future generations. In fact, even the city’s electricity - including stop lights and televisions - runs on fireflies!

Yet, when Orlando is old enough to go to Ogre School, a bizarre word begins to turn round and round in his head: "Zenzano!". Little by little, Orlando suspects that there is a well kept secret about his past. And when he makes the shocking discovery that he is not really a little Ogre at all, but a little HUMAN youngster, an incredible journey is about to unfold. A marvelous space vessel fueled by the power of memories takes little Orlando from Ogreland in search of Earth and his human past...
Some of the KEY CONCEPTS concepts expressed in ORLANDO THE ECO-FRIENDLY OGRE:

BIODIVERSITY
Orlando is brought up in Ogre Land by a fantastic Ogre Family and is accepted and loved, even if he is different. And Orlando, too, though he is different, learns to live and love the Ogres’ ways.
IMPACT ZERO
In Ogre Land, Orlando learns to respect nature. He is taught the importance of using natural energy, eating natural foods, recycling. Orlando is a human child who grows up dealing with diversity and is taught the value of respecting nature. He learns from the Ogres, and we, the audience, learn from him as he delivers the film’s ECO-FRIENDLY message and the importance of biodiversity. Above all, Orlando teaches us that we can grow and develop without damaging our environment or harming others.
